School Age summer camp

School Age summer camp

COVID-19 has changed the 2019-2020 school year with implementing distance learning for the last 2+ months of school.  Since the school closure was extended, researchers have analyzed what the effects of learning will be, long term.  Typically over the summer, children experience “Summer Brain Drain,” losing anywhere from 20-50 percent of what they learned in the academic school age.  The uniqueness of distance learning meshing into summer has alerted Educators to the need to keep children engaged academically over the summer.

Little Newtons has designed a strong academic curriculum for the summer as well as a safe environment in accordance with CDC guidelines, MDH and DHS.
