Our Philosophy

Our Philosophy

Our Philosophy

At Little Newtons, our unique program encompasses a great breadth of knowledge, excitement, and adventures! We believe the years from birth to age five are imperative to a child’s growth and development and lay a foundation for their entire lives. We are dedicated to providing the most exceptional environment for children to reach their goals and exceed their potential.

Our Curriculum

As Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world!” At Little Newtons, we agree, and our program is designed to provide the highest standard of learning for our students. Our students love the fast pace of our curriculum and pick up the information quickly.

Our Teachers

Our highly trained and certified teachers are hand-picked based on their love for children and their dedication to our mission and teaching philosophy. Every member of our staff is committed to caring for children and being attentive to each child’s needs. These qualities ensure every child receives an intellectually stimulating childcare program in a fun and safe environment.

Our History

From day one, our mission has been to change early childhood education by creating an innovative curriculum based on the idea that children can learn anything. The first Little Newtons center opened in Plymouth in 2009 to provide children with an intense, exciting curriculum as well as first-class childcare. The center opened with seven children and grew to 264 children in 2014. Little Newtons continues to expand, opening centers in Maple Grove in 2014, Champlin in 2015, and Elmwood Park, IL in 2018.

A Note From
Our Founder

Thank you for considering Little Newtons for your child!

I searched for this kind of academic-based child care when my first daughter was born. When I couldn’t find it, I decided to open my own center. More than a decade later, we’ve helped hundreds of kids get a head start on their education.

My own education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology with an emphasis on Cardiac Rehabilitation leading to Post Baccalaureate studies as an RN. I practiced nursing for seven years.

Research shows young children who are exposed to academic learning early in life develop skills ahead of their peers. But they’re also having fun! They’re not sitting at a desk being drilled with flashcards; our teachers are incorporating all sorts of ways to learn, from art projects to science experiments, even yoga poses based on the theme of the week.

I’ve always believed children are like sponges, constantly soaking up new information, and I’ve seen their capabilities first-hand.
