At Little Newtons, our mission is to create a safe, inclusive environment that supports cognitive, social, and emotional development. We value curiosity, creativity, and independence, aiming to inspire a lifelong love of learning while fostering a sense of community and respect for diversity.
Our program equips children with essential skills for kindergarten readiness, including foundational academic abilities and social-emotional growth. By focusing on structured learning and individualized support, we set the stage for your child’s future success.
Language skills form the foundation of early education, and our pre-K program is thoughtfully designed to nurture these essential abilities. Storytelling and reading sessions enhance comprehension and imagination, while letter recognition activities introduce foundational literacy skills. Children also engage in interactive games to build vocabulary and phonemic awareness, fostering a love for books and preparing them for academic success.
Our pre-K program introduces foundational math and science concepts through a hands-on, exploratory approach. Children practice counting, recognize shapes and patterns, and engage in basic arithmetic exercises that make learning fun and interactive. Simple science experiments spark curiosity about the natural world, encouraging discovery and critical thinking while building a strong foundation for academic achievement.
Our curriculum promotes teamwork, empathy, and conflict resolution through group activities. Children practice expressing emotions, understanding others, and building confidence, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Creative activities, including art projects, music, dance, and dramatic play, allow children to express themselves and develop fine motor skills. These opportunities inspire imagination and foster self-confidence.
Our classrooms are designed to be safe, welcoming, and engaging, featuring child-friendly layouts and age-appropriate materials. Each space is thoughtfully organized to encourage exploration, with designated areas for reading, art, science, and play. Our classrooms are equipped with interactive displays and hands-on materials that inspire curiosity and creativity.
Children participate in group activities like circle time and collaborative projects that encourage active listening, communication, and teamwork. These sessions build a sense of community and shared learning.
One-on-one sessions with teachers address each child’s developmental needs and learning styles, ensuring personalized attention and support to help them thrive.
Outdoor play is a daily feature, providing opportunities for running, climbing, and imaginative play. These activities support motor skill development, teamwork, and exploration of the natural world.
Rest periods, including nap times and quiet activities, help children recharge and stay focused throughout the day. This balance ensures they are refreshed and ready to learn.
We maintain a safe and healthy environment through regular hand-washing, allergy awareness, and strict cleaning protocols. These practices prioritize the well-being of every child in our care.
Our secure check-in and checkout processes, along with authorized pick-up protocols, ensure the safety of all children. Parents can feel confident that their child is in a secure environment.
Regular parent-teacher conferences provide opportunities to discuss your child’s progress and development, fostering a collaborative approach to their education.
